Some light amusement results in a more serious discussion on the Enigma, and another member for the clan. (For Sei :P)
Characters: Cal, Baeraidh, Zarh
Serian Center Square
The stones are of different colors, ranging from deep browns to rusty
oranges, and have been placed in squares along the ground. Green grass
grows between the spaces of the square blocks. The rare flower also can be
seen growing wildly along the ground, being a bright yellow or purple in
color. This wide field consists of lush green grass, and different colored
stones. Along the edges of the wide courtyard making up the Serian Square,
tall statues made of the past and former rulers of the city can be seen,
sentient as if they were like guardians.
[Exits: north east south west]
A rucksack lies here, waiting to be filled with your trinkets.
A poorly made leather knapsack is lying here.
A book containing the Serian laws rests here, on a white marble podium.
An azure book spined with ebony and ivory is here, placed upon a makeshift wooden podium.
A pristine white marble fountain is here, decorated with small child water-bearers.
A bench made of wood and wrought iron sits here, with intricate carvings in the wood.
Talic is resting on a wood and wrought iron bench.
A Serian Peacekeeper patrols the city, ensuring the safety of its citizens.
A Serian Peacekeeper patrols the city, ensuring the safety of its citizens.
Yanna, Ember of the Eternal Flame is here, floating in the air.
Jiran is resting on a wood and wrought iron bench, leaning back on his outsretched arms, languidly observing the various goings-on in the square.
Baeraidh is here.
[Baeraidh is talking of his father]
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'He had the insane belief that he loved each of the women he married...unfortunately, he also believed he loved most of the women he didn't marry...which lead to difficulties.'
Caliah stifles a snort of laughter, clasping his elbows.
Veritas smirks, and shakes his head at the thought.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'A fine man, in his own way. Too emotional though. Became very passionate very easily. If a lass gave him a smile he was hooked. If she gave him anything more and he was hers! Well, until the next cleavage came along.'
Corrine chuckles politely.
Corrine says to Baeraidh in common, grinning, 'Talking about yourself, Baeraidh?'
Veritas says to Baeraidh in common, a light, quick voice, 'Heh. '
Baeraidh says to Corrine in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I have no idea what your talking about.'
Veritas continues writing on a crumpled piece of paper as he walks eastwards.
Baeraidh says to Corrine in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'It is well known that I'm a gentleman of the highest order.'
Jiran smiles and inclines his head towards Corrine.
Caliah whispers in common to Baeraidh, inflectionlessly, 'She got you there. And oh! There's a good one for the wagering. Care for it?'
Baeraidh casts a glance at Caliah, thinking.
Baeraidh whispers in common to you, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'How much?'
Caliah grins insouciantly at Baeraidh, hooking a slim wrist over one of the swords girt at his side.
The sun slowly disappears in the west.
Caliah whispers in common to Baeraidh, inflectionlessly, 'Another twenty?'
Baeraidh whispers in common to you, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Pah, I'm running low on gold...merely a kiss, aye?'
You send an OOC message to Jiran saying 'here goes again lol'
Jiran sends you an OOC message saying 'LOL'
Caliah whispers in common to Baeraidh, inflectionlessly, 'Merely a kiss. Although I'm looking forward to see how you'll go about it.'
Baeraidh sighs dramatically and stretched back in the bench, a look of forlorn on his face.
Baeraidh whispers in Corrine's ear.
Jiran says in common, his soft voice almost a whisper, 'Excuse me, but can anyone spare a bit of food?'
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying 'Ding ding ding! Round one!'
Corrine disappears into the void.
Jiran sends you an OOC message saying 'LOL nice disappearing trick XD XD'
Baeraidh frowns, muttering something beneath his breath.
Caliah covers his mouth with a gloved hand.
Baeraidh whispers in common to you, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Alright, that is slightly unfair, the girl is just gone. We'll have to hold off till she is back again, aye?'
Baeraidh gives you a full toothed grin.
Yanna blinks innocently.
Jiran tips his head towards Yanna in recognition.
Baeraidh says to Yanna in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Greetings there, Yanna.'
Yanna half-bows before Jiran.
Yanna says to Baeraidh in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'Greetings.'
Jiran shivers a bit and hastily pulls his cloak tighter around his body.
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, '... Sir Liancourt?'
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'Has anything happened..?'
Caliah says to Yanna in common, inflectionlessly, 'We seem to have located one of the shards.'
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'I'm afraid I was tied up with matters of religion the last few day-'
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'Oh? Wow, where was it?'
Caliah says to Yanna in common, inflectionlessly, 'Just one, but it is still in a chronomancer's keeping, and she..or he...desires to speak with me on the matter first.'
Baeraidh stifles a yawn with his fist.
Caliah says to Yanna in common, inflectionlessly, 'That is all I know...'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Your looking for shards of something?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'An hourglass, to be precise.'
Yanna blinks innocently at Caliah.
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'I thought chronomancy was a dead art.'
Caliah says to Yanna in common, with the slight movement of one shoulder, 'That was to my thought as well, but it seems that one has remained.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, right. Obviously a special hourglass. What do you need it for or what does it do?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'No doubt you've heard something of what has been transpiring these past few days...of the return of the Enigma.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, rightio. I heard something about this Enigma Godslayer laddie. '
You send an OOC message to Baeraidh saying '*gets allergic staying in the square for so long* XD'
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying '*nods* Makes me feel dirty lol'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'The hourglass was what the Goddess of Time died in.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Very dramatic. Right, and you want the shards to recreate the hourglass and...?'
Caliah whispers in common to Baeraidh, inflectionlessly, 'Apparently there is...some sort of cult after the glass as well. You might have seen them about...men with their ears, lips or eyes sewn shut.'
Caliah whispers in common to Baeraidh, inflectionlessly, 'The hourglass can control time. As to its breaking, it may be responsible for the fact a great many are younger or older.'
Caliah says to Yanna in common, inflectionlessly, 'That is all the news I'd received on the matter, really. Has Seria or anyone else been similarly successful..?'
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'I would not know, though I would guess that no...'
Yanna says to Caliah in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'Seria, at least, I would know if they got anything.'
Baeraidh whispers in common to you, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, yes I was wondering about that. That happened at the most unfortunate time.'

Mail Header: *a raven coalesces from a cloud of black feathers, alighting on your shoulder and whispering in your ear*
One of my men have located a shard, but it is in the keeping of a certain
chronomancer. I will keep all informed as to what transpires if I am
successful in obtaining it. I have no other knowledge of any if they were
found.|
Baeraidh says in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'This Enigma, it seems that the majority of the people have taken a disliking to the lad. '
Baeraidh says in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'What has he done to cause so much anger, anyway?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I see him as the perfect foe.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Do you wish to discuss this elsewhere?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'If you like, it pays to stay up to date.'
Baeraidh tells the group '*belches*'
You tell the group 'ugh! foul habit'
Yanna says to Talic in common, in a high pitched, melodic voice, 'Well enough.'
Caliah says in common, inclining his head briefly, 'Do excuse us.'
Within the Serian Forest
Small butterflies make their way across the forest in a little gathering.
Their pale colored wings of blue and yellow make a stark contrast in the
forest, with the darkened browns and greens of the trees. The trees are
tall, their trunks thick with age, and their bark rough. Moss of a deep
green color spreads itself across the trunks of the trees, and small yellow
wildflowers nuzzle themselves near the roots. Small bits of light come
through the canopy of leaves and branches far above the forest floor.
[Exits: north south west]
A slinking red fox makes its way through the forest.
Baeraidh has arrived from the north.
The sound of dry pine needles and leaves make a crunching sound beneath Baeraidh's feet.
You find a small sapling and bend it back into position and tie it off.
Baeraidh looks all around.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Much better.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, leaning back against the bole of one of the trees, 'You're inclined to be sympathetic with the Enigma's cause, perhaps? If I weren't leading others, I might be discerning his reasons rather than setting myself against him.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Well you have to admit, it does sound attractive.'
You are now seen as:
Caliah is here, floating in the air, leaning quietly against the bole of a tree, one hand grasping the pommel of one of the blades girt at his hip.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Independence for mortals?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Not being under the yoke of the Gods? '
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Now, I'm not one to take up the heroic cause, against my nature, you see.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'But I could see why others would. '
Baeraidh rolls his shoulders in a slight shrug as he leans against a nearby tree.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I am working from the logical assumption that with the fall of one god or the other, the order of the world as we know it will be destroyed. That is enough cause for worry...'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I have my duty to bind me, toward my clan and others. The only personal reason I have is that he presents me with the opportunity fo face a foe that has been deemed invincible.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Obviously looking for a challenge. Reasoning I am glad to say, I don't share. Though it would be interesting to go up against a lad like that...I suppose.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'But, who is to say that the world would not be better with out the interference of the Gods?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I am told he is proof against mortal weaponry, however.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, tapping her head, 'It is with this that I aim to challenge him.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Well, first off, you'd need to find out how he was defeated before, I suppose.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'To be brutally honest, I have entertained the possibility of such a world...it's not without its attractions.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Aye. Perhaps it would be nice not to be caught up with the internal politics of the Gods?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'To be used as their pawns...just a thought.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'What I don't agree with is taking chances over something as potentially dangerous as the Enigma is. What's not to say he will destroy us after he's done with the Gods?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'A worthy thought. One would be trading many gods for one...'
Baeraidh exhales deeply before frowning.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, smiling humourlessly, 'Aye. We've yet to discern this Enigma's true motives, other than from hearsay that he wishes dominion.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Aye, a pity no one seems to know where this cult of his is based. A diplomatic envoy could be sent to see exactly what this Enigma lad is offering.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I am told the cult worships Kyvorr rather than the Enigma. They are from the future...or so Verayes has said.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I trust in my men, but as to their personal opinions on this...'
Caliah shrugs slightly, pursing his lips.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Aye, sure she's an awkward one.'
You are made more skilled by the gods.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Your lads probably won't feel happy committing until they know exactly what both this cult and the Enigma want.'
Baeraidh suddenly gives a quick grin, a merry twinkle in his eye.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Saying that, I'm sure the famed Aschal have a few ways to find out information, eh?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, quietly, 'Strange that you've heard that much of us...'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'We've not made much of our presence in recent years, I'm afraid.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah sure, more of assumption on my part...and mostly based on yourself. You don't seem the type to let the world go on about you without knowing whats going on.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Of course, I've been known to be wrong...'
Baeraidh lets his smile turn into a large grin.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'On occassion.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, with a slight quirk of his mouth, 'I find it more useful to be underestimated than thought of in that light.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Well I'm sure the rest of the masses probably think differently. You probably don't realise this, but I'm extremely perceptive. It is my third best feature.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, a hint of amusement entering his gaze, 'The first two being?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Why, my dashing good looks and my rather large....ego.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I thought that was obvious to the world, perhaps I have underestimated your perceptiveness!'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I'm not one to pass judgement so easily, and when I do I rarely divulge such, naturally. Although we always have use for those with your...hm...talents.'
You tell the group 'hahaha'
You tell the group 'just make sure you use the brothel instead of going off and having babies with all of Aschal's women *sage*'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'You would? And my ego has inflated once again. And what exactly would you offer to one of my considerable talents and wit?'
Zarh has arrived through a gate.
The sound of dry pine needles and leaves make a crunching sound beneath Zarh's feet.
Caliah says to Zarh in common, inclining his head slightly, 'Ah...good evening again.'
Zarh nods slowly towards Caliah.
Baeraidh gives Zarh a steady look with a frown.
Zarh says to Caliah in common, words flowing out in a harsh hiss, 'Was wondering if you would like to continue our conversation interrupted by the stupid ball of fire riding the sky.'
Baeraidh pointedly ignores Zarh and begins to hum, almost to himself.
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying 'My char doesn't like lythren :)'
Zarh says to Caliah in common, words flowing out in a harsh hiss, 'Wierd friends you have...'
Baeraidh casts a glance over at Zarh, his eyes visibly tightening.
Caliah says to Zarh in common, motioning toward the other human, 'I tend to not be...particular about choosing whom I speak with.'
Zarh says to Baeraidh in common, words flowing out in a harsh hiss, 'Never seen a lythren before?'
Baeraidh says to Zarh in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I'm sorry to say I have.'
Zarh settles an enormous aged cobra to rest on his broad shoulders.
Zarh says to Caliah in common, words flowing out in a harsh hiss, 'You know how to find me.'
Zarh utters the words, 'oeha'.
Zarh begins to step through a gate.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I'm sure we can speak at some other time if you need to speak with...him.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, clearing his throat after the lythren's departure, 'He usually seeks me out to debate some point or the other.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Hmm...fair enough. I have little enough dealings with his likes, for which I'm glad of.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, after a pause, 'Where were we...ah. Well, Aschal takes care of its own. It's a brotherhood of sorts, governed by officers rather than being beholden to a liege lord.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'You wouldn't want for food or money. Or armour and weaponry. It's entirely self-sufficient in that regard, more so than many clans.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Sounds like it could be of benefit. And what exactly would the Aschal want of me?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'One requirement we do have...is that all members are possessed of common sense. Any who are lacking that were inducted before I was made a leader.'
Caliah stifles a snort of amusement.
Baeraidh gives a wry chuckle then grins.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'From our conversation I've discerned that you are no fool.'
Baeraidh pauses for a moment, his expression turning serious.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'And duties? '
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'You are to be beholden to the officers in terms of command. Our laws are inherently simple enough; our overall stance is one of neutrality when it comes to dealing with other clans and cities. That does not mean letting them have their way...'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'On the contrary, if any of them are found guilty of infringing on our territory or attacking a clan member, they should expect retaliation in full. Although we have treaties with the cities and will trust them not to violate those...'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, smiling icily, 'Unless they wish to start a war.'
Baeraidh gives a slow, considering nod.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'In that case, the pros outweight the cons. Fair enough, if the Aschal wants me they can have me.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'It's a given that we expect absolute loyalty. Treachery is....not looked upon as kindly as it might be in other clans.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I know this might surprising, but I usually keep stick to my word...'
Baeraidh pushes himself away from the tree trunk, his usual grin returning.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'You know what might be interesting? If the Aschal could organise discounts in the brothal?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Or should I wait till I'm around a little longer to offer suggestions like that?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, snickering, 'If you would actually approach the man from the Empire who is in charge of the brothel, then it's not a far-off possibility.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Consider it done and I shall consider it my first duty!'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Hmm...this taking orders thing mightn't be so bad after all.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'By the by, who exactly to I take orders from?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Besides myself? There are the officers, known as Ailbhe and Ailill.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'The Ailbhe is Hymeda Marteau'Pente, and the Ailill, Siercyn. '
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'The higher-ranking officers are the Nuallan, who is third in command, and the Raigan, my second.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Hotak and Lucinda are Nuallan. The Raigan is Audris, although she has taken a leave...'
Baeraidh gives you a quick nod.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'So, basically, everyone of a higher rank?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Which is, basically, everyone in Aschal.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Other than other Sivina.'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Only those I enumerated should have the authority to give you formal orders, but the others may give you tasks to fulfill so you may prove yourself worthy of a higher rank.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Worthy? Right...so give or take a few weeks and I should start rising in rank...that doesn't sound too bad.'
Baeraidh tells the group 'I'm going to start sleeping my way to the top!'
You tell the group '...'
You tell the group 'that might mean sleeping with guys HAHHA'
Baeraidh tells the group '*thinks* I'm sure I'll manage something...I'll bring them to the brothal! woohoo!'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Is there anything else I should know?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, straightening and brushing a few fallen leaves from his armour, 'Only that you should ask of us if you require any aid. We encourage our members to voice any doubts they have.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'That sounds fair enough. Is there perhaps some sort of...what is the word I'm looking for...inception payment?'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, snickering, 'You require gold?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Well, it is just I'm a little short at the moment...all that recent charity work I've been doing...'
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, shrugging slightly, 'How much do you need?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, well...what would the norm be?'
Someone roams out of the shadows.
The sound of dry pine needles and leaves make a crunching sound beneath someone's feet.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'We don't usually pay upon induction, you know. Just name a fair price, and perhaps...'
Caliah arches an eyebrow in query.
Baeraidh glances down at the dry pine needles and leaves.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Sorry, this happens alot, I'm very popular.'
Someone idly pats Baeraidh on his head.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, adding, in a dry tone, 'Only what you need.'
someone says to Baeraidh in common 'Welcome to Aschal! Now I can stalk you.'
Someone beams delightedly at nothing in particular.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Fair...erm...five hundred gold?'
Baeraidh gives you a quick grin.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Fair enough.'
Baeraidh says in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, thank you! Stalk away! You will be one of my many legions...might I put a face to this stalker?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'It is? I mean...ahem...of course it is...thanks.'
Caliah mouths the word 'legions' with a light cough, rolling his eyes heavenward.
Seiran fades back into existence.
Seiran says to Baeraidh in common 'You still owe me dinner.'
Caliah inclines his head courteously to Seiran.
Baeraidh flourishes an elaborate bow to Seiran.
Seiran smiles at you.
Baeraidh says to Seiran in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'If only I had known it was you, oh holder of my heart.'
Seiran says to Caliah in common 'I can test him, right?'
Seiran beams innocently at you.
You think in common 'Holder of my heart...such hogwash.'
Caliah says to Seiran in common, inflectionlessly, 'You think him able enough to er...engage in that so soon?'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Actually, this one has more than a hint of mischief about her...I'd recommend caution before allowing her to test me...ahem.'
Baeraidh quirks his eyebrow with interest.
Seiran peers thoughtfully at Baeraidh, occasionally prodding him with a rainbow colored staff.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Engage in what so soon?'
Baeraidh says to Seiran in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Careful now, I've a habit of prodding back...not that it would be unpleasant...'
Baeraidh gives Seiran a wolfish grin.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'Testing of course. I might leave you to her mercies...come for the gold afterwards, hey?'
Seiran yawns and whacks him over the head with a rainbow colored staff.
Seiran says to Caliah in common 'He doesn't sound ready to you?'
Baeraidh winces dramatically as the staff connects with his head.
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'You mentioned nothing of physical abuse!'
Caliah says to Seiran in common, shrugging lightly, 'I tend to look beyond what comes out of folks' mouths. If you wish to test him be my guest, though I daresay I'd be more stringent, if I were given the prerogative.'
Baeraidh broadens his shoulders as he lifts himself to his full height.
Caliah says to Baeraidh in common, inflectionlessly, 'I would think the abuse has naught to do with the fact you're Aschal now, Baeraidh.'
Caliah grins faintly, his smile discernible just beneath the shadows of his hood.
Seiran says in common, nodding, 'The fact he's Aschal now just makes the abuse easier.'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Excuse me, I'll have you know that I am more than capable of meeting any 'test''
You say in common, inflectionlessly, 'There you have it, his consent.'
Seiran grins evilly at Baeraidh.
You tell the group 'ahhahaah always digging your own grave XD'
Baeraidh casts a glance from Seiran to you, a flash of doubt crossing his features.
Baeraidh tells the group 'lmao...well known trait of all my chars'
Baeraidh says to Caliah in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Hold on a moment...consent for what?'
Seiran rubs her hands together with an expression of pure glee.
Baeraidh shifts his shoulders uncomfortably, frowning at Seiran.
Seiran beams angelically at Baeraidh.
Caliah says in common, inflectionlessly, 'All's well and good, then. See me after this if you're ah...still wanting that gold.'
Caliah inclines his head, fading into the wood.
